Omega Exteriors wants this website to work for everyone. How we test it, and how to reach us if something is in your way.
Our goal
Omega Exteriors aims for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, so it can be used with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom and other assistive technology.
How the site is built and checked
- Every page has a "Skip to content" link, labelled navigation, one main region and a footer.
- This site's color pairs for text and buttons are checked against WCAG AA contrast (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for large text and controls) when the site is built.
- Every link, button and form field can be reached and used with the keyboard, and shows where the focus is.
- Photos that carry information have a text description; decorative photos are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages work at 360 pixels wide and when zoomed to 200%, and motion is turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
